"Embrace fitness without inhibitions through the saree — a symbol of feminine power and tradition."
Mission
Embrace fitness without inhibitions through the saree — a symbol of feminine power and tradition.
Overview
A vibrant community fun run where participants wear sarees to celebrate women’s strength, resilience, and cultural pride. It’s more than a race, it’s a festival of empowerment, wellness, and heritage.
Uniqueness
Challenging the notion that fitness looks a certain way or requires a certain fit by embracing one of the most historically significant garments — the Saree — redefining women’s capabilities.

How It Began
2016— Bengaluru, India
A local gym owner in Bengaluru noticed a discrepancy between men and women gym goers. He starts Saree Run as a way to get more women moving in the one thing they feel most comfortable — the Saree. He started Saree Run as a way to make fitness welcoming, expressive and culturally rooted.
